Even if Dorian doesn’t hit Florida, major effects would still be felt

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, accompanied by officials, updated the public on the status of Hurricane Dorian on Aug. 31, and said even if the hurricane doesn’t directly strike Florida, it’s still a powerful storm that will have major effects like storm surges and flooding.
