Sunday’s protest near Tsuen Wan Park in Hong Kong escalated into violence for the second day in a row. Police shot dozens of tear gas canisters and rubber bullets into a crowded area, some protesters hitting back with petrol bombs, bricks and other items. As police marched forward with more reinforcements, including a water cannon truck, protesters relocated — some chose a shopping area and barricaded the doors with umbrellas.
