A federal grand jury indictment was unsealed Aug. 22, charging 80 people, most of whom are Nigerian nationals, with participating in a variety of online scams to steal millions of dollars. U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna and the FBI’s Paul Delacourt told reporters in Los Angeles that the investigation is ongoing.
