Toronto Police Chief Mark Saunders said on Aug. 23 that by working with the police’s specialized gun and gang task force, in conjunction with response units and front-line people, appropriate locations for the new CCTV cameras would be decided. Saunders said allegedly 99.9 per cent of communities in the city are law abiding, but people are still scared of gun violence that occurs.
