On Aug. 23, Ontario Premier Doug Ford and Toronto Mayor John Tory announced that the province will be investing $3 million over three years to double the number of CCTV cameras in the city in an effort to help police investigate gun and gang violence. This is part of an ongoing effort in Toronto’s fight against gang and gun violence.
