Acting Detective Sergeant Brandon Price of the Toronto Police Service’s homicide division said an investigation is underway on an Aug. 21 homicide, which took place at Jane Street and Weston Road. It is likely this was a targeted shooting, he said, and the victim’s name is Abdikani Ismail.
