A report by the United Nations released Thursday showed that sexual violence committed by Myanmar troops against Rohingya women and girls showed the military’s “genocidal intent” to destroy the mainly Muslim ethnic minority. A UN representative also said they’ve argued conditions are “not conducive” for the Rohingya’s repatriation and return to Myanmar.
