The Ontario government instated a new sexual education curriculum for students, after scrapping the Liberal government’s curriculum, which included content such as gender identity, sexting, consent and more. Education Minister Stephen Lecce said on Aug. 22 that this new curriculum rolled out enables parents to have a say, after province-wide consultations with parents.
