One person was taken to hospital following a collision between a pickup truck and commercial vehicle in the area of Sherbrooke Street and Monaghan Road in Peterborough.
When crews arrived, they found a commercial truck pulled over on Sherbrooke west of Monaghan road and a pickup truck on the south east side of the road that had struck a school crossing sign.
There was construction in the area at the time of the collision, but it is unclear if that was a factor in that crash. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by Peterborough police.
