Annual Canal Pursuit to raise awareness of depression visits Peterborough area

The fifth annual Defeat Depression Canal Pursuit arrived in Peterborough Tuesday.

The runners – including several from Peterborough – are led by Clay Williams who is tackling the 750-km relay run from Port Severn to Trenton along the Trent Severn Waterway and then the Rideau Canal from Kingston to Ottawa.

The relay aims to raise funds and awareness of depression.
