Canada’s target for protection of marine and coastal areas surpassed, says Trudeau

According to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Canada has surpassed its goal target for percentage of marine and coastal areas protected, he said on Aug. 1 in Iqaluit, Nunavut. He announced the government will work with Inuit communities to increase conservation efforts.
