Wettlaufer report cites systemic failures in long-term care

The long-awaited report into the convicted serial killer, Elizabeth Wettlaufer, is warning that systematic failures in long-term care could allow for similar crimes in the future. Wettlaufer intentionally killed 8 patients in two Ontario nursing homes while working as a registered nurse before turning herself in. As Kamil Karamali explains, the report made 91 recommendations to protect people in long-term care.
