History of lacrosse honoured at Women’s U19 World Lacrosse Championships in Peterborough

The women’s lacrosse U19 world championships kicked off July 31st at Trent University in Peterborough.
22 teams from around the globe start round-robin action Thursday
The more than 1,000-year history of the sport and its deep ties to First Nations’ culture will be a central focus of opening ceremonies.
