The commissioner for the Elizabeth Wettlaufer inquiry, Eileen Gillese, said on July 31 that vulnerabilities in the long-term health-care system must be exposed before implementing the public inquiry report’s recommendations. She also said that key actions include: prevention, awareness, deterrence and detection.
