Panamanian authorities said on July 27 they have seized nearly four tonnes of cocaine after patrolling and intercepting a speedboat via air and sea along the northern perimeter of Isla Grande in the province of Colon. Panama’s Naval Service (SENAN) intercepted a go-fast speedboat, seizing 3,989 packages of cocaine, making it the third successful operation of its kind so far in 2019. General Director of Panama’s Naval Service, Juan Manuel Pino, provided comment.
