June Michell, founder of Women Aware, an organization that helps domestic violence survivors, passed away suddenly this month.
She was described as a selfless, giving person who helped everyone else before herself.
As Global News’ Dan Spector reports, hundreds gathered on July 27 to celebrate her life and legacy.
