China slams activists’ who call for foreign consulates to issue Hong Kong travel alerts

A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson criticized calls by Hong Kong protesters asking for foreign consulates to issue travel alerts for the city, saying it was an “attempt to provoke external forces” to intervene in personal affairs.
