Toronto physician says Purdue Pharma lied about opioid safety

Dr. Meldon Kahan​, Medical Director of the Substance Use Service at Women’s College Hospital​, says doctors were told opioids were safe and not addictive, despite ‘flimsy evidence’ this was true.
