Patrick Bigras, a Sûreté du Québec police officer, has died by suicide after a long struggle with the case of cardiologist Guy Turcotte. In 2009, Turcotte murdered his two young children. As Mike Armstrong reports, Bigras’ death is a jarring reminder about how stressful being a police officer can be.
