Canadian military’s second in command abruptly quits

After serving in the Canadian Armed Forces for 38 years, Lt.-Gen. Paul Wynnyk is quitting as the vice-chief of the defence staff. Wynnyk’s resignation notice, exclusively obtained by Global News, reveals his boss, Chief of the Defence Staff Gen. Jonathan Vance was replacing Wynnyk with Vice-Admiral Mark Norman.
