More than 87 aftershocks since southern California rocked by earthquake

Ridgecrest Mayor Peggy Breedon said on Thursday the city in southern California has seen over 87 aftershocks since it was rocked by an earthquake on Thursday morning, and that it has called a state of emergency so that it can access “significant help” from other government agencies.
