China bans all Canadian meat due to forged documents; Ottawa suggests meat wasn’t from Canada

China is accusing some Canadian pork producers of using counterfeit veterinary certificates to say their products are safe to eat. As a result, Beijing has suspended all imports of Canadian meat, including beef. But as David Akin explains, Canada suggests that meat isn’t even from Canada and our country’s reputation is being sabotaged.
