China’s foreign ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said on Friday that Canada was responsible for the problems between the two countries and that it knew “clearly why” and how to improve the relationship. This comes a day after U.S. President Donald Trump said he was prepared to raise the case of the two Canadians detained by Beijing with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
