The federal government is widely expected to green light the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion project a second time June 18 but, even with a Yes vote, construction is likely weeks, if not months away. The issue was brought up at the House of Commons on June 18 by Conservative MP Lisa Raitt and Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour Patty Hajdu.
