Canadian Minister of National Defence Harjit Sajjan said an official has been directed to look into an issue regarding a man deployed to Afghanistan with the Canadian military experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder. He was allegedly told he was ineligible for benefits because he had not applied for the civilian benefits on time, the House of Commons heard on June 17.
