Buckhorn students release adopted painted turtles

Loss of habitat, poaching and road kill have resulted in a declining turtle population on Ontario. And now, they’re designated as a species-a-risk in the province. But on Thursday morning, a group of students from Buckhorn Public School did their small part to help them survive.
