Indian journalist assaulted by railway police in Uttar Pradesh

An Indian journalist said on Tuesday he was assaulted by railway police while covering the derailment of a goods trains in India’s northern Uttar Pradesh state. A video recorded at the scene shows Government Railway Police officers beating Amit Kumar, who was later locked in a jail cell.
