Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland said on Monday, while speaking at the International Economic Forum of the Americas Conference in Montreal, that the government is watching the reports of journalists being attacked in Russia with “great interest and attention,” adding that Canada supports media freedom around the world.
