Water levels in Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River projected to break or exceed 2017 peak levels

Residents who live near Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River will want to brace themselves for the possibility of flooding. The latest water level forecast by an international body that monitors the region says there’s a very good chance that water levels could reach or exceed the record set in 2017.
