English school boards and the mayor of Montreal are both appearing at hearings into Quebec’s secularism bill on Tuesday. The Quebec Association of English School Boards (QESBA) argues the government doesn’t have the right to tell minority school boards who to hire or not. As Global’s Raquel Fletcher resports, both they and the mayor are trying to convince the immigration minister to amend Bill 21.
