Bright meteor lights up night sky in two different U.S. cities

The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids, Michigan said a “brilliant” meteor was spotted streaking across the sky in the early hours of Saturday, May 11. Meanwhile, a Woodridge Police Department patrol vehicle dashcam captured the moment the same meteor illuminated the sky in Chicago, Illinois.
