A protester from Grassy Narrows First Nation interrupted Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at an event Thursday to try to deliver a letter calling on Trudeau to make good on Ottawa’s promise to provide a mercury treatment centre for the community. She was told she was welcome to stay, but she was seen on camera leaving the event.
