Red Sox says they don’t see absence of some players at White House visit as racial divide

An official with the Boston Red Sox said Thursday they don’t see the absence of a manager and some players of the team not attending the visit to the White House as a “racial divide,” despite comments from some criticizing the administration over various issues.
