Debate heats up on Day 2 of public hearings into Quebec secularism law

The Coalition Avenir Québec government claims Bill 21 is based on recommendations in the 2008 Bourchard-Taylor report. But as Global’s Raquel Fletcher reports, both authors of that report – Philosopher Charles Taylor and historian Gérard Bouchard have come out against the proposed legislation.
