Public input crucial to Peterborough’s 2020 budget, says finance chair Dean Pappas

Peterborough city staff are recommending a tax hike of 2.84% for 2020, according to a report sent to councillors last week.

But finance chair and Town Ward councillor Dean Pappas says that number is far from set in stone.

He says many factors, including public input, need to be considered before anything is put in place.
