175,000 cigarette butts removed from Peterborough’s downtown core

Peterborough’s Downtown Business Improvement Area began an urn program to encourage people to throw their cigarette butts in the garbage, instead of tossing them in the street.

The result? At least 175,000 cigarette butts collected.
