Pompeo warns of Russia, China activities in Arctic, says Canada’s claim over Northwest Passage ‘illegitimate’

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned Monday about China and Russia’s activities in the Arctic and called on both countries to act responsibly, adding that Canada has also made an “illegitimate” claim in the Arctic over the Northwest Passage.
