‘It’s a recipe for disaster’: Former child advocate speaks out about province cutting Ontario advocacy office

On Wednesday, the investigative powers of Ontario’s office of the child advocate will now be fielded by the ombudsman. This comes after the provincial government axed the office, as part of cost cutting.
