Suspect arrested in terrorist plot had ‘backup plan’ if rally was cancelled: U.S. attorney

U.S. Attorney Nick Hanna on Saturday said a U.S. veteran arrested in connection with a terrorist plot had a “backup plan” for if his preferred target – a rally in Long Beach – were canceled, and that he wanted to “inflict the maximum number of deaths.”
