Emergency crews are attempting to rescue five people trapped in a cave in Southwest Virginia Sunday. Russell County EMA Director Jess Powers says the first emergency crew was able to make voice contact with the five men trapped in the cave. Heavy rain made conditions at the cave impossible for the men to leave.
