‘Completely unacceptable’ Federal privacy watchdog says Facebook rebuffed legal advice

Canada’s federal privacy commissioner Daniel Therrien expressed dismay that Facebook has
rebuffed their findings and legal recommendations during a news conference on Thursday discussing a joint investigation that found major shortcomings in Facebook’s privacy practices, calling for stronger laws to protect Canadians that including third-party order making powers and fines for corporate non-compliance.
