Topeka Zoo director says employee in stable condition after tiger attack, says animal won’t be euthanized

Topeka Zoo director Brendan Wiley said Saturday that a zoo employee mauled by a seven-year-old Sumatran tiger was in stable condition in hospital and said an error led to the woman and the tiger being in the same space, prompting the tiger to attack and thus the animal would not be euthanized.
