Owner of South Okanagan motocross track being taken to court

A non-conforming motocross track built near Summerland in 2016 has been raising the ire of neighbours ever since. It was built on Agricultural Land Reserve land without any
applications for rezoning. Neighbours complained to the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen and the Agricultural Land Commission repeatedly about the noisy, non-farm use of the land.
On April 18, the Regional District decided in a narrow vote to apply for a court injunction against the landowner.
