Wealthy French businessman who pledge $100M to restore Notre Dame says it’s a ‘duty’

Francois-Henri Pinault, chief executive of the Kering group which owns brands including Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent said it was “a duty” to rebuild Notre Dame after pledging $100 million euros to help restore the gothic cathedral in Paris destroyed in a fire.
