Kamala Harris will explore issue of reparations for African Americans if elected

U.S. Democratic presidential contender Kamala Harris told a conference of black activists on Friday that, “When I am elected president,” she would sign a bill backing a study of reparations for descendants of slaves, at Reverend Al Sharpton’s National Action Network conference in New York.
