The dangers associated with drug use in Kelowna’s downtown core took a frightening twist this week when there were several overdoses in the notorious Cornerstone homeless shelter. The overdoses come on the heels of a warning from Interior Health that the deadly drug Carfentanil was making its way into the Okanagan. As Kelly Hayes reports, police believe the drug came from West Kelowna where there was a large drug bust in recent days.
