You may have seen one on a beach, or even a snowy road-a bicycle with incredibly fat tires. Fat bikes are becoming increasingly popular as more people look to cycle in adverse weather. And as Randy Pielsticker explains, they’re just the thing for heading down a slushy, muddy ski slope as spring melts the winter snow. Slush Fest, a fast bike festival, takes place at Sir Sam’s on March 30 in Eagle Lake.
