Peterborough Folk Festival to celebrate 30th anniversary

The Peterborough Folk Festival has announced some plans for its 30th anniversary.

Headlining the festival is A Tribe Called Red, the 2018 Juno award winning group of the year.

They will perform Saturday, Aug. 17th at Nichols Oval park.

Children’s entertainer Fred Penner will take to the stage Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

The main stage where headliners play will now be known as the Subaru Main Stage after Peterborough Subaru became a major sponsor of the festival.
