Tree thinning, prescribed burns, even cattle grazing. The provincial government is expanding its efforts to prevent wildfires with some major projects getting underway this spring in the Okanagan. On Thursday the B.C. Forests Minister visited an area hit hard by the 2003 wildfires that burned dozens of homes in Kelowna. Kelly Hayes reports.
