Spring was ushered in by a super moon Wednesday night, this one called the Super Equinox Maple Sugar Full Moon.

Rick Stankiewicz from the Peterborough Astronomical Society appeared on Global News Morning Peterborough on Thursday to discuss the celestial sighting.
